Time to play catch up again! It seems like I'm always doing that. What a slacker! On January 28th Jordyn turned 8 years old. I can't believe that my little girl is getting so old. She is truly a joy in my life, and I can't imagine not having her in our family.
On February 2nd, Jordyn chose to be baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am so proud of her and her strong faith and testimony for such a little girl. We questioned her pretty hard, and she is one devoted child. She has a strong desire to follow her Savior and make good choices.
We were lucky that she was baptized on the same day as her friend McKinley. It was fun to see the two girls together.
The whole family was there. We are so blessed to have such a supportive family, and I love having everyone together.
After the baptism, we came home to celebrate Jordyn and Jennifer's birthday's.
The next day was Jenn's birthday, and William blessed at our home. We had all of our family again and all of the Ainge family here for that event.
Jordyn adores this little guy!! She loves being an aunt, and has laid claim to the title "favorite auntie". She may not let them take William when they move to their next adventure this spring. She even changed a diaper, and she bounds out of bed on mornings he is here.
Dad thinks it's pretty cool to be "both kinds of great" as Jordyn says. He and William have great conversations. It was a great weekend full of wonderful things!
