Loser's New Year's Eve Party

 

One of our favorite times of the year is our annual New Year's Eve Party at the Jackson's.  Some years we are more losers than others.  This year, there were only three couples, and I was the biggest loser of all.  We play an intense game of spoons, and the winner gets to take the spoon trophy home for the year.

Ice Castles

There are ice castles in Midway, so we went up for New Year's day.  They were pretty amazing, and when it got dark they lit them up.  It was really crowded, but I'm still glad we went.  It was kind of surreal and other-worldly.  So awesome!!

Merry Christmas from the Stone's

     We had a great Christmas celebration this year.  We were blessed enough to have the whole family with us, and I loved it!!  We had our traditional big party/dinner on Christmas Eve, opened gifts together in the morning, and then just hung around and played the rest of the day.  We actually even slept in a little this year.  Jayme and Cassidy slept over, but Jenn and Adam went home to Provo.  Naturally they didn't want to wake Will at 6 am to open presents, so they were able to convince Jordyn to wait until they got here to open her presents.  Jordyn and Matt had a little party of their own at 4 am, and went back to bed, but the rest of us slept until about 8:00!!
