Living Nativity
We were able to visit a living Nativity this year. I had heard how awesome it was, and it truly lived up to it's reputation. I'm definitely thinking new tradition. It was snowing, and it was cold, but we all loved it!
Dad, bundled up for our Arctic expedition.
Jayme and Ellie, trying to stay warm.
A shepherd, watching his flock by night. Does it snow in Bethlehem?
Jordyn visiting Small One.
Roman soldier, guarding the gates of the city.
Scott and Bella
Jenn and Will, imitating Rudolph.
Camels!!
Michael and Jordyn, helping the carpenters saw wood.
Jordyn trying her hand at blacksmithing,
and leather working.
Goats!!
Even the goat with the curly horns!
Playing Dreidel.
The three wise men.
The Holy Family, so awesome! What a great feeling.
Jordyn and Daddy
What a great experience for us all.
Will's Birthday
We got to share in celebrating Will's first birthday. Can't believe this little guy is one! He has been such a joy, we love our kids and grandkids!!
He didn't quite get the idea of blowing out the candle.
Or eating his cake.
He liked finger painting with it much better!
The Great Gingerbread Fail
We tried making gingerbread houses, they looked a lot cuter in my imagination.
I'm thinking I need to submit this to the Pinterest fail blog. It looked really cute online.
Jordyn's castle looks awesome! It even has a knight to guard the princess!
Matthew's fortress, super Christmas-y, right?
Dennis' log cabin, the only traditional one. Ammon's ended before it ever began.
